Women Who Inspire aZul - Celebrating Women's History Month 2021

Updated: Aug 3, 2021

aZul is proud to recognize 4 local women in our community who are an inspiration, in honor year's Women's History Month!

Jacquelyn "Jackie" Kingston

A young biologist driven by her passion to make a difference in our community. Her ability to get stuff done is impressive, and having a full-time job doesn't stop her from running her own nonprofit serving adults with disabilities: Sea Turtle Adventures. She established the organization in 2016 after working with adults with special needs and recognized the benefit of bringing conservation awareness to this audience. Today, her organization continues to provide inclusive hands-on activities such as beach cleanups and observation of turtle monitoring while promoting environmental education. If you want to meet someone who can juggle many things in life and keep smiling, you have to meet Jackie! As a growing organization, Jackie is truly an inspiration to us at aZul.

Mary Hart

Executive Director at Dress for Success Palm Beaches. Besides running successful strategies to keep serving women in Palm Beach County, Mary is a sincere woman, who is highly approachable and ready to empower women in her community! If you have the chance to meet her at a networking event, she is the kind of person that is open to learning about you and most importantly, ready to collaborate by sharing her knowledge. If you want to meet someone who is an expert a relationship-building Mary Hart is that person. At aZul we have had the opportunity to collaborate with her and admire her path and genuine support.

Jennifer Gongora

A mother, part-time student, and a visionary who finds great value in her daughter's skills. To the point that she decided to support her daughter's dream of starting a business. Her daughter, Victoria, has special needs, but that was never an impediment for Jennifer to believe that Victoria's business will succeed. With her support to this day, they work as a team as VK Girl Creations, featuring handmade knitted wear and more. Jennifer is our inspiration, proving that if we are building a dream for our adults with unique abilities as a family effort, we can all be successful. We are so honored to have had met Jennifer in one of our virtual programs. We hope you too can keep following and supporting their journey through their website or facebook.

Chiara Robinson

aZul has been proud to witness Chiara's professional growth for the last 3 years. Chiara started her professional career with aZul as an intern through Gulfstream Goodwill. That experience supported her path to move into a full time job with Goodwill, where she has been working for the last couple of years. Her professional development doesn't end there, she has taken our Follow The Thread class, created her own sustainable fashion design collection (Flourish by Chiara Simone), and now is part of our Board of Directors. She is a woman capable of following up and building committed relationships, and is huge inspiration for any one who meets her!
