Sewing Away Series by aZul

Sign up for a 4 sessions sewing class, complete 3 projects and to get comfortable using a sewing machine with Beverlee & Sheila! Our sewing sessions will offer support 1:2 for our Creatives to receive all the attention needed on their learning process. We will start with basic projects and will close our series sewing your own top.

Projects: 

• Reusable lunch bag
• Apron
• Woman’s Top

All sessions will be held on Wednesdays, 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Registration of $120 for 4 sessions, includes supplies and projects to take home.

Sewing Away, Session I - March 30th:

Play with fabrics, colors and textures while choosing the appropriate fabric for your 3 projects.

• Learn how a sewing machine works, start practicing to run stitches on fabric scraps

Sewing Away, Session II - April 6th:

Learn how to make an upcycled snack bag.

• Learn tricks to cut fabric
• Run a simple stitch using a sewing machine
• Add a strap to your lunch bag

Sewing Away, Session III - April 13th: 

Sew your own apron to take home. 

• Apply the skills learned in Session I
• Run straight single stitches
• Learn how to pin a hem
• Add straps to your apron

Sewing Away, Session IV - April 20th: 

Making your own clothes was never this easy, with Beverlee & Sheila.

• Get familiar with patterns
• Cut out your top fabric pieces
• Pin it before sewing
• Sew away
